Year's Best Science Fiction

My short story "Strong Medicine" is going to appear in the next annual edition of The Year's Best Science Fiction*, edited by Gardner Dozois and published by St. Martin's Press. The book comes out in July.

I'm speechless.

But not so speechless that I can't remind you that you don't need to wait for the book to read the story (although I hope you'll still pick up the book). It's still available for free perusal at Salon, with the viewing of a short ad.

Damn. Wow.

Wow, I rarely see those older editions in the series at used bookstores. Which edition is it? My own earliest is the 11th.

Of course, if you really want to get caught up on short fiction, you'll need the most recent edition. As of this coming July. ;-)

Not totally sure right off the top of my head. I could look it up when I'm not at work though.

I'm working on the Collected Works of Bilmo. :) So far, I have two Realms of Fantasy, and a printed copy of Love In A Time of Spyware that I printed straight off Salon.

My friend Mark Bourne has a complete collection of all twenty volumes so far. Gardner Dozois, the series editor, was over at Mark's place once and commented that even he didn't have some of the volumes Mark did.

I humbled by your Bilmo collection. Thank you. Hey, did you ever read "Dance of the Yellow-Breasted Luddites"?
