The New York Times is reporting:

Scientists Call Fish Fossil the "Missing Link"

Talk about deep time! I am in awe.

(I move that Tiktaalik roseae be nicknamed "Darwin Fish.")

Hey, thanks for the heads-up on this. Of course the ever-increasing number of "missing links" turning up in the fossil record won't daunt the creationists: they won't believe in evolution until god tell 'em to.

Yes, I can't help rolling my eyes when otherwise brilliant scientists say, "Well, this sure will rock the creationists back on their heels!" If reason had any power in the argument, there wouldn't be an arguemnt.
