Stairway to Liverpool
I'm sure everyone in the universe is linking to this today, but I can't stop watching this YouTube video from The Beatnix, an Australian Beatles cover band. It's from an alternate universe where the young mop-tops wrote and recorded "Stairway to Heaven" in 1964:

I saw this a few days ago via digg, and though its highly amusing, I can't help but comment that the last part of it is largely based on "Twist and Shout", which though it was a big hit for the Beatles, is actually an Isley Brothers cover. Of course, that's sort of like pointing out that mice don't really speak English, are not bipedal, and don't wear pants when you're watching a Mickey Mouse cartoon.

That is absolutely freaky! They are so eerily familiar and yet so not—although they're better looking than all the Beatles except for Paul, of course.
