My fingers are crossed that this turns out to be worth missing Blue Heaven for.

Feels damn good doesn't it? I'm almost there on my current project, Got to run the draft past my critique group first.

Back to the original title! Excellent. It was too clever a title to waste.

Break a leg!

Good luck! This has been a great book in a variety of versions, and demands to be published!

How does this latest draft differ from the earlier ones?

This draft (rev. 9) is not a huge departure from the previous draft. What I've done is fill out some of the details that were getting short shrift in the previous draft. That draft (rev. 8) represented a huge trim from the draft before that, and it took a fresh eye to point out where details had been eliminated that needed to be added back in, or in some cases added in for the first time. This draft weighs in about 10,000 words longer than the one before.

I hope that your new agent can find an enthusiastic editor for you.

Who is your new agent anyway?

This is good to hear -- I hope it finds a publisher soon!

I enjoyed it when I found an early draft in text form (really raw text form) many years ago on your website. I enjoyed hearing you read it. And I recently listened to it again, and still found it to be fun.

It's a good thing that it's enroute to your agent - I want to see it published, and you rewarded for your hard work. Many have enjoyed it, and your terrorist activities still have a future to be seen.

One of these days you will have to tell us the story of your new agent - how you found them, how they found you, and what the process is like. I enjoy hearing about your experiences, you have a certain richness in words which allows others to live vicariously through you... not sure if that came out the way it was intended, but you're the writer, not I.
I have finished the new draft of The Accidental Terrorist and sent it off to my new agent for comments.
