On being blue
It's nice to be watching MSNBC in a crowded Chicago bar that erupts in wild cheering every time another state goes in the blue column.

I love this country, and I love not being embarrassed by it.

Yeah, I was watching that huge gathering in Chicago, and wondering where you guys were. A bar sounds like the perfect venue.

It's like having a cast taken off; you don't realize how awful and restrictive it was until it's gone. I am now counting the days until the doofus in the White House is merely a private citizen with secret service protection. (and I don't usually like to call people names, but after 8 years of him dragging this country into a cesspool of fear, arrogance, and intimidation, there isn't much I'm not willing to call him)

Lucky you!

I was sitting in a sea of red in a bar in "McCain Country" (Montgomery County, TX). Our table was the only one clinking beer bottles after Obama was declared the 44th President of the United States. I not only feared for Obama's life, I feared for my own! :-/
